First of all, I just want to thank Carolyn for her professionalism and hard work during the recent sale of my house. I was selling my house as part of a very bitter and messy divorce, with my ex wife still living in the house. Carolyn was able to navigate expertly around all the obstacles this situation introduced. Her recommendations on the selling price and agressive marketing ensured my house sold in under two weeks, despite it being in disrepair and extremely poor showing condition. I am living in the Denver area so had to rely solely on Carolyn to help line up repairs and to ease communication between me and my ex wife. Saying Carolyn had a difficult job selling my house is a real understatement, but she carried through on everything she said and the house closed without any issues just like she said it would. At many points during the process, I was really afraid that Carolyn would just walk away from this sale because it was so difficult to work between fueding parties and deal with a house that was in such poor condition. Hi. My name is Robert Bryant. My wife Roberta and I can't say enough great things about our Remax Select realtor Carolyn Moriarty. She guided us through dual closings on 7/13/07. Carolyn worked feverishly behind the scenes and saved the day with our "selling" closing for 1030 Hornbeam St. We had to close that Friday morning, so that the proceeds from the sale could be wired to our "buying" closing for that afternoon in Orlando. The day before, the buyers of our home all of a sudden came up short with the amount they agreed to put down as a down payment. Carolyn had been on the phone the night before, with their lender's Bank V.P., insisting that the closing would happen on the morning of July 13th. The buyer's had to reapply for their mortgage, juggling numbers just hours before we had to close. Carolyn Moriarty made it all happen flawlessly. Hours later, we met up with Carolyn in Orlando, for the closing of our new construction Townhome.
It was a stressful day, and everything worked out beautifully, thanks again to Carolyn.
A quick History. We put our Oviedo house on the market in January
2007 with Zip Realty. After four and a half months and only twenty people had walked through, Carolyn knocked on our door. She wanted to show our house to a perspective client, but couldn't get in touch with our Zip Realty realtor. My wife, Roberta let her in to show the house. Within a few days, we fired our Zip Realty realtor and signed with Carolyn. We appreciated her "guts" and forthrightness. We signed with Remax Select and Carolyn on June 14th, and closed (bought and sold) on July 13th, 2007. Carolyn put together a great team, including Brian Gill (Mortgage broker), and Ossinsky & Cathcart (law offices).
We've been in our new Townhome for two weeks. We are thrilled and love it. We will gladly recommend Remax Select, and especially Carolyn Moriarty to all who ask.
